How to Download e-Aadhaar Card Online at eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in

Friends first you can get Enrollment Number, Date and Time, Resident name and Pin Code Number. The following is the procedure to download Aadhaar Card Online.
  • First we can logon into eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in website.
  • After that Enter the Enrollment Number like 1234/12345/12345 this format.
  • Going to next box enter the Date and Time (dd/mm/yyyy  hh:mm:ss).
  • After Enter your respective "Resident Name" and Write your Pin Code Number (Six Digit Number).
  • Finally Enter the Captcha Code or Text shown in the text box. After click on Submit Button.
  • In the next step, verify your mobile number by cross checking the last 4 digits. If the mobile number is correct select “Yes” or otherwise select “No” option to change the another number.
  • After the Entering the OTP (One time Password) will be sent to the matching registered mobile number.
  • Then Download e-Aadhaar Card Online in 'PDF' Format.

Is there a Law which makes Aadhar mandatory?, and if so, does the Law guarantee that personal information will not be misused? and also that all safeguards for identity theft and similar problems that arise in the case of PAN cards will not happen in the case of Aadhar? If these things are not guaranteed by the government, why is the government enforcing this card?
